Whats the diffrence between ayuashca and LSD?

This was an interesting documentary. But when I discovered that the plants were harvested from the precious Amazon, it has made me ambivalent towards ayahuasca. Furthermore a lot of these retreats that now exist are apparently owned by foreigners with little profits going to the Indigenous communities. It would be refreshing for perhaps a documentary to be made on how the Western affluent privileged with their retreats are exploiting the already endangered Amazon and the local communities. Maybe people would think twice about travelling there.

I'm interested but I've seen too many people throw up on TV taking that stuff. Anything that makes me throw up I'm not putting in me.

Great film, I can relate to much what the participants shared. I do think it would have been helpful for me as a woman seeing other women share about their journey. Only men were interviewed. It does not feel balanced and holisitc which is sad for a film about a conscious, healing topic.

このコメント欄に「日本の精神性」があるから日本人には必要ないとコメントしてる人もいるけど、そんな国なのに年間２万人も自殺してしまう人がいるのはなぜなんでしょうね？　西洋だけでなく日本も物質主義社会になっていて、その中ですり減っていく人が多いのは事実。古来からの精神性を基盤にした社会ならそうはなっていないと思いますが。現代の精神科治療のカウンセリングも実際に受けてみて結局は「現代社会への再適合」をゴールにしていると感じるし、そこからじゃなく一つ上の視点、俯瞰した視点を得て「変容」にいたるにはアヤワスカのような劇的な経験はとても有意義だと思う。

17分くらいで話していた人の話を聞いていると、自分が肝機能障害で手術をして死にかけた時の体験を思い出した。 腹水が溜まり41どの高熱の中全身麻酔をして手術をし終わった後、自分は生きているんだって喜びと共に家族にハグしたい気持ちとか全てに感謝の気持ちが止まらなかった。 多分アヤワスカって臨死体験に近い行動なんじゃないかなって勝手に思ってしまいました。

これは本当に凄まじい体験でした。自分の人生に必要だったかは分からないけども、間違いなく大きく生き方に影響を与えていますね。数年経った今ではもう忘れかけていますが、たまに思い出します。いわゆるバッドというような状態で半日彷徨っていて、その間の時間が数十年に感じました。最初は効いている感覚に抗って、なんとか正気を保とうと頑張っていましたがそれが本当に苦しくて辛くて怖くてトラウマものでしたね。そのうち抵抗が無意味なのを理解して全て身を任せて諦めました。死んでしまってももう仕方ないと。そうしたら体は楽になり、精神はひたすらに無限の闇の中をただプカプカと流されて行く感覚に浸っていました。その間は自分の名前も職も性格も友人関係も全てを忘れていて、個というものが完全に消失していたと思います。死後の世界はこういう感じなんだと理解できました。真っ暗な闇の中目の前に映し出されるビジョンは今では詳しく思い出せませんが、トカゲのような人間の顔や極彩色の鳥など不思議なものでした。無限の時間の中眺めていると、現実時間で10時間ほど経過していて、正気を取り戻し始めていました。現実世界に戻った後は体が軽く、生きていることに心から感謝し嬉しくなり幸せでした。翌日から数ヶ月ほどはなんだか虚無感に襲われていて、自殺願望が出る時もありました。自分はもうまともな人間ではなく、普通の人間が見てはいけない知ってはいけない部分を知ってしまい神様が怒ってるんだろうとしばらく鬱のような症状が出ていました。時間と共に改善されましたが。なんだかこの動画を見て久しぶりに思い出してみて懐かしくなりました。
